A bit quiet. I dont know how i feel about the minimalistic beat, that pad and arp would be great with a soulfilling hard breakbeat with a good amount on wobbly bass :D but that's just my opinion. but for me it was too empty :(

CyroNG responds:

i understand why you would say its empty :P

nice beat with a mellow/sad ambiance. I really like it. well done :)

etK responds:

Thanks a lot !! I'm really glad you liked it <3 More of this genre upcoming and also on my Soundcloud and all :D

man the beginning looping feels soo daft punky :) really like it. The bass and beat match perfectly. Not sure about the "mans best friend" vocal, imo it doesn't fit in but we all hear music differently. overall 4.5/5 very good, keep at it :)

D00FY responds:

Thanks for the review dude, means a lot. I actually agree with you about the vocal, i like dogs to much though so it had to stay in lel.

love your work, this lowfi feeling on the piano and bass is very nice. And those oldschool drums get me everytime. And that sax, please yes :D

Libby-Shimmz responds:

Thanks much!

sick as fuck, well done!

pretty nice, mind if i sampled this to one of my tracks? :)

Man, you've come far, your music has become better sounding, but a tip for mastering your future projects - it's better when the mix sounds quieter, right now all i can hear is overly loud wobs, but the elements aren't fighting over the frequencies so it's okay, that's great (that means your mixing and mastering is fine) :). But still it's always better to sound more quieter, because when somebody plays this on their speakers after a calm song, they're going to have an heart attack :D. When you post your next track, keep that in mind. Overall a 4/5, I don't listen to this kind of dubstep, but this track had some nice nuances to it :) goodluck

Falsesouth responds:

Hey, I've been referencing common dubstep artists in order to figure out the general gain the track should be. After some time, I decided that for the next tracks, I will lower that final boost a notch because it definitely could use a little more dynamic range. That seems to be the difference between my work and the top notch dubstep in terms of mastering.

After the past couple years, it makes me really happy to hear from you. Your feedback has been genuine and I really appreciate it.

Thank you so much!

I will be sure to make that adjustment in addition to stepping up my game with composition in general :D

Great groove, beautiful sample. Mixed together, aww yis c:

Damn, I grew up listening omni trios renegade snares. I liked the fast paced amen but i feel like it's somewhat empty. Maybe consider layering some pads on those low strings. Also i think that you should use some distorted wobs to mix up the bass :D. When those hi-hats come in they all sound the same, play with their volumes and pan them around. overall a nice piece but it could be improved imo :)

Libby-Shimmz responds:

I appreciate the feedback Varv.

Yeah, I just realized that the hi-hats are a little too dry. I'll see if I can't spruce them up a bit before I release the EP proper.

sick, wish it was longer and had more progression

not all audio that i post is finished or polished, many of them are raw. I have a bad habit of not finishing my projects. pm me if you're interested in collabing:)
